About Us

Troop 86 is a Scout troop located at St. Lukes Episcopal church in Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. We are a boy-led troop made up of 31 scouts who love to learn and advance. We camp on a monthly basis during the school year and enjoy backpacking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, climbing/repelling, caving and other exciting activities on our campouts. We go to Scout summer camp each year during June and enjoy Scouting high adventure activities in the summer. We meet every Monday evening during the school year from 7:00 - 8:15 in the St. Luke's Scout Building on South Cove Drive that is is adjacent to the main St. Luke's Church building.
